In March 2010, from 13th to 15th, Marche Region will host a historic event: all the five provinces will get together for Tipicità, a show that exhibits the best products made in Marche.
This land is very rich in biodiversity and this is a special occasion to meet all them, expressing their plurality, in an international frame.
The 18th edition of Typicalities takes place in Fermo, in the southern part of Marche, with more than 125 events and a long list of organizers, such as the Municipality and Chamber of Commerce of Fermo, the Marche Region and the five provinces: Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata and Pesaro-Urbino. As you may know Italy is very different morphologically from one place to another and for this cause fragmented. That’s why it’s not to take for granted this festival, as it is an extraordinary demonstration of synergic work.
This year the Festival has reached an important agree with Lufthansa for tourism promotion. The airport Raffaello Sanzio – Falconara Marittima is in this way well connected with Air Dolomiti (member of Lufthansa) to the important hub of Bayern Munchen (Monaco of Bavaria).
Tipicità – Festival dei prodotti Tipici delle Marche has been presented last weeks in Milan at BIT. The program in includes as well mountains, seaside and hills. From ‘pesce azzurro‘ (anchovies, mackerel, sardines and many other lost fishes), to special pigs cooked directly on medieval skewers for meat. From the sea to the inland, in a journey into unique seductions of taste, this exhibition has aroused considerable interest involving brands expressing excellence throughout Marche.
Ancient cultures, taste, local flavours, passion for the land and the desire to eat healthy, genuine food. That is the main soul of this union, created to present territorial-quality production. Wines, meats, cheeses, oils and special dishes.
The indoor exhibition area consists of 6.000 square feet hall, where, in addition to Marche, there will be also European regions Guest of honour, Bavaria and Sardinia for this edition. From Norway, Sweden, Croatia, Spain, Slovenia, USA, Argentina – special events will be presented.
More than 40 brands are represented their best products in the Made in Marche Gallery, a special area devoted to Prodotto Marche! There will be also two meeting areas and two areas dedicated to entertainment, with Teatro dei Sapori and Fucina della tradizione.
